AN ORDINANCE Ar "ENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDIN<; %NCE 2939 AS
At:TENDED BY ORDINANCE 3994 AD!D ;TAKING SAME READ AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That section 2 of Ordinance 293 A be and the
same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:

,r 2,# Upon the filing of said application in the
office of the City Collector, it shall be the duty of the
City Collector, or his duly authorized deputy, without further
fees, to issue to the owner of such motor vehicle as is described
in the application filed, a certificate of registration, which
certificate shall be in the form of a card, which may be carried
in the t:ocket and which shall contain a distinctive number,
which shall be assigned to such motor vehicle by said collector,
and said collector shall also issue and deliver to the owner of
such motor vehicle one metal plate, or transparent sticker, bearing
the number assigned to such motor vehicle, together with the viords
"Little Rock ", and it shall be the duty of such owner to conspicu-
ously display said plate,when plate is used,upon the rear of such
motor vehicle, or said sticker, where a sticker is used,at the
lower right -hand corner on the wind- shield of such motor vehicle
Ghen the same shall be driven or used upon the public streets,
alleys or public ways of the city of Little Rock.
It shall be unlawful to transfer the metal plate
or sticker from one motor vehicle for which it was purchased to
any other motor vehicle and it shall be unlawful for any one to
use any metal plate or sticker which may have been lost or stolen.
