AN ORDINANCE TO REDUCE THE LEVY OF THE ASSESSMENT OF BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS?
LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF SEWER
IMPROV=NT DISTRICT NO.93 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
through its Improvement District Committee, determined that the pres-
ent rate of assessment of benefits in Sewer Improvement District No.
Ninety Three (93) of the city of Little Rock, Ark., and collection of
same will provide more money than is necessary to pay off the final
amount of bonds and interest due from said District, amounting to
about $15,400.00, owing to the large amount of delinquent taxes
remaining uncollected.
THEREFORE, It is now ordained by the City Council of the city of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
SECTION 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels of real prop-
erty within said Sewer District No. 93 of the City of Little Rock, Ark.
be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for sejid
Improvement District as the same remains now iju the office of the Ci4y
Clerk of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas hat the present assessment

hereby reduced Fifty (50f) percent, and the City Collector of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby directed and authorized to collect
only the sum of Fifty (50) per cent of the amount that has heretofore
been collected annually on each block, lot or parcel of land assessed
for the taxes of said Sewer District No. 93 as shown by the book now on
file in his office and from which collections have heretofore been made
by him.
SECTION E. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is declared hereby and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage.
