4973ORDINANCE NO. � AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL AMBULANCE COMPANIES OR INDIVIDUALS OPERATING AMBULANCES IN LITTLE ROCKS TO FILE DAILY REPORTS WITH THE CHIEF OF POLICE CONTAINING INFORMATION ON EMERGENCY CALLS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; Section 1. All persons, firms or corporations operating ambulances in the City of Little Rock shall file a report with the Chief of Police, each day before twelve o'clock, Noon, concerning all emergency runs or calls made the previous day. An emergency call is defined to be one during; the making of which the speed limit, as applicable to other motor vehicles is violated and wherein other traffic laws of the City of Little Rock are also violated. Section 2. Said report as herein mentioned shall contain the following facts, to -wit; The name of the driver, the destina- tion, the time of day or night the run is made, the name of the patient secured, the nature of the injuries of said person as nearly as may be ascertained and the disposition of the patient, if taken to a hospital, the name of the hospital, and if no patient or accident victims be secured on the trip state why not. These facts are to be set forth in detail as to each run or trip made. Section 3. Each person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance by failing to file a true report as herein provided shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convietion will be fined in any sum not less than 125.00 nor more than $50.00 Section 4. The danger to life and property of citizens of Little Rock being caused by the reckless and indiscriminate speeding of ambulances through the streets of the city, where no good purpose or reason makes such speeding necessary, and the imformation called for by this ordinance being necessary to determine whether or not a real emergency exists for such runs, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in force from and after the date of its passage.
