136611 RESOLUTION NO. 13,661 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS TOYOTA, IN THE TOTAL 5 AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN THOUSAND, NINE 6 HUNDRED SIXTY -FIVE DOLLARS ($119,965.00), FOR THE PURCHASE 7 OF FIVE (5) TOYOTA CAMRYS, FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE 8 DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE PURCHASING 9 CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of five (5) Toyota Camrys which will be an addition to the Little Rock Police vehicle fleet; and, WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Purchasing Contract, the City Fleet Services is authorized to purchase five (5) Toyota Camrys from Landers Toyota for $23,995.00 each, for a total of One Hundred Nineteen, Nine Hundred Sixty -Five Dollars ($119,965.00); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Landers Toyota for the purchase of five (5) Toyota Camrys for the Little Rock Police Department, utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, for the total amount of One Hundred Nineteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Sixty -Five Dollars ($119,965.00). Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2012 collection of the 3/8 -cent sales tax. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
