5030` ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4356. Now, Therefore be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock: Section 1. Section One of Ordinance. No. 4356 is hereby amend - ed in its entirety to read as follows: METER RATES. Except for the prevention and extinguishment of fires, from and after the reading of the meters in December, 19322 water shall be furnished to all consumers by meter measurement, subject to the meter minima provided in Ordinance No. 3442 at the follow- ing rates, subject to the discount provided herein. Per 100 Cu. Ft_,. For the first 6,700 cubic feet per month, or less 30 cents For the next 6,700 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof .............. ............................... 25 cents For the next 20,000 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof ............... ............................... 22 cents For the next 26,000 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof ............... ............................... 15 cents For the next 32,000 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof ............... ............................... 12 cents For the next 40,000 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof ............... ............................... 10 cents For the next 1,201,900 cubic feet per month, or any part thereof .................. ............................... 6.75 cents For the excess of any quantity over 1,333,300 cubic feet per month ................ ............................... 3.75 cents NOTE: One (1) cubic foot of water is equivalent to 72 gallons weighing 622 pounds avoirdupois. Where payment in full is made of a current bill on or be- fore the tenth (10th) day following the original date of billing a discount of five per cent (5i) shall be allowed on that part of the bill which is for the first 60700 cubic feet of water per month or any part thereof. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. - Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
