AN ORDINANCE A`PROPRIATING THREE HUNDRED
DOLLARS FROM'. THE AIRPORT,HOSPITAL AND FIRE EQUIPMENT BOND
FUND FOR THE PAYMENT OF TWO FORTY GALLON F OA1.111TE TANKS AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
`1MEREA3, the present facilities for extinguishing
fires at the Little Rock Municipal Airport are inadequate,and
WHEREAS, the Fire Committee and the :airport Committee
of the City Council desire to purchase two forty gallon Foamite
tanks on wheels from L.E. Hinton at the cost of $300.00, and
14EREAS these tanks are for all practical purposes as
good as new ones at a saving in cost of 149.00, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI T — COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Three Hundred '� tag
($3.2.00) Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the Airport, Hospital, Fire Equipment Bond Fund, chargeable
to the Fire Equipment account, for the payment of two forty
gallon Foamite tanks on wheels, and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the city's warrant
drawn upon said account in said amount payable to L.E.Hinton.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
