5053ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC -','ORKS FOR FUNDS WITH . HIC H TO ERECT A HANGAR AT THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT,A SWIMMING FOOL _IT FAIR PARK AND THE COMPLETION OF THE `: UNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AT FAIR PARK UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL RECOVERY ACT AP PROVED JUNE 16,1933 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT 01DAI NE D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: SECTION I. That the Mayor and the Airport Committee of the Little rock City Council are hereby authorized and directed to file an application with the Federal Emergency Administration of Public -Forks for funds with which to erect a hangar at the Little Rock I,unicipal Airport. SECTION II. That the 'Mayor and the Parks Committee of the Little Pock City Council are hereby authorized and directed to file an application with the Federal Emergency Administration of Public :orks for funds with which to erect a inunic� ci 1 sw mmi7 pool and complete the construction upon the ,ublic golf links^in Fair Park at Little Rocks Arkansas. SECTION III. In making the applications referred to in Sections I and 2 of this ordinance the I3ayor and the respective committees named are authorized to execute all necessary contracts, stipulations and agreements as may be required under the terms of the National Industrial Recovery Act and the Mayor and said Committees are hereby authorized to apply for such sums of money as may be necessary for the completion of the project involved. DECTION IV. The construction of the improvements contemplated in this ordinance being necessary for the ,peace, health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Little Rock an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in force and take effect f om and after the date of its passage.
