"_ENT 7I TH THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AT .1"_-HI CH TIME SAID LOAN S IALL BE REPAID FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE SPECIAL .1UTOIJIOBILE FUND AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7HERE4y3 the General Fund of the City of Little Rock is at present exhausted, and 'THEREAS there will be approximately 190,000.00 paid into said fund when the Sheriff of Pulaski County makes his final settlement to the C.ity of Little Rock for the collection of 1932 taxes, and 7HE'RTAS there now remains in the Special Automobile Fund the sum of "33,000.00 which slim will not be needed for street purposes until after the date of final settlement of said Sheriff, now therefore BE I T ORDAINED NED BY T I?F CITY C OUAICI L OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1. That the hayor and City Clem-, are hereby authorized to issue the city's warrant in the sum of `33,000.00 payable from the pcial Automobile Fund and to the General Fund, said warrant to indi- cate upon its -face that said amount is borrowed from said fund to be re -paid at the date upon which the Sheriff of Pulaski County makes final settlement to the City of Little Rock for his collection of 1932 taxes. Section 2. Immediately upon receipt of the final settlement of said Sheriff, the Iayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to issue the City's warrant upon the General Fund of the City of Li the 11 Rock in the surn of ?33,000.00 payable to the Special Automobile Fund in re- nairment of this loan of "33,000 no, *r being made. Section 3. Due to the lack of funds in the itdr's General Fund it is at present impossible to pay salaries of city employees as a result of which functions of city -government are in dander of being terminated thus causing great danger to lives and property in the City of Little Rock and the immediate passage of this ordinance being necessary for the peace, health and safety of the City Of Little -dock an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after the date of its passage.
