AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE �,AAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A LEASE BET WEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN FAVOR
OF THE ARKANSAS INDUSTRIAL AND RELIEF STATE AGENCY FOR THE
CONSIDERATION OF ONE DOLLAR PER ANNUTA FOR A PLOT OF GROUND AT
THE LITTLE ROCK A�UNICIPAL PARK KN07M AS FAIR FARK,SUFFICIENT
IN SIZE TO PER IT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SWIMMING POOL THEREON
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the mayor and City Clerk are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute under the seal of the City
of Little Rock, a lease to the Arkansas Industrial and Relief
State :agency upon a -lot of ground
situated the Little Rock 11ilunicipal Park
known as Fair Park sl ore particularly described as follows:

The consideration for said lease shall be the sum of One 01.00)
Dollar per annum.
SECTION 2. The construction of a swimming Fool in Fair Park
,,ihich will be available for use of all the citizens of Little
Roc'-, will contribute largely to the promotion of the health
and welfare of the citizens of Little Rock of all ages as such
a pool will enable them to engage in the healthful exercise
of swimming and if such pool is to be available for the citizens
by the opening of the coming swimming season construction must
be started immediately, therefore an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after the date of its passage.
