AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A LEASE BEV7EEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN FAVOR
OF THE ARKANSAS INDUSTRIAL AND RELIEF STATE AGENCY FOR THE
CONSIDERATION OF ONE DOLLAR PER ANNUL TO THAT PORTION OF THE
LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL PARK KNOIJJN AS FAIR PARK UPON -aJHICH
IS NO -17 SITUATED THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ERECTING AN ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND I 1PROVING THE
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND FOR OTHER --URFOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute under the seal of the City
of Little Rock a lease to the Arkansas Industrial and Relief
State agency to that portion of the Little Rock Municipal Park
known as Fair Park more ,particularly described as follows:
See attached page.
The consideration for said lease shall be the sum of One
($1.00) Dollar per annum.
SECTION 2. The building now used as an administration
building and club house at Fair Park has reached such a bad
state of repair that its use is dangerous to the safety of
citizens and employees using and occupying said building for
public and private -purposes, and this dangerous condition
making the immediate replacement of said building necessary
for the peace, health and safety of the citizens of Little Rock,
an emergency is therefore declared to exist and this ordinances
shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of
its pa�sage. _
