AT ORDINANCE AUT70PIZING TFE MkYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE TO A CERTAIN
TRACT OF LAND TO TFE M.M. EBERTS POST #1 OF THE AMERICAN LEGION AYM FOR OTF+ER
PURPOSES.
BE IT OF?.DAINED BY TIRE CITY COUNCIL OF TFE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a lease in the name of the City of Little Rock to the M.M.Eberts Post #1
of the American Legion, for a period of thirty (30) years at an annual rental of
One ($1.00) Dollarn�Sia`en that portion of the -property owned by the City of Little
Rock which is bounded on the West by the East side of Main Street, extended to
the Arkansas River, on the South by the Right -of -way of the Missouri Pacific
Railway, on the East by the West boundary line of Scott Street, extended to
the Arkansas Fiver and on the North by the Arkansas River.

/It is hereby ascertaine4 that the improvement to be made to the
property will mean the protection of the river front at this point
thereby saving property and lives of the citizens of Little Rock,
and the immediate passage of this ordinance is imperative in order
to save said property,therefore an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately after its
passage.
