AN CRDINANCE F TXING THE A �WAL MATE
AND DATE OF COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS
OF BENEFITS IN STREET IMPROVEIiENI'
DISTRICT NO. 419, AMID PROVIDING FOR
INTEREST ON SAID ANNUAL INSTALUv1ENTS
OF BENEFITS,
MEREAS, Street Improvement District No. 419 of
the City of Little Rock has entered into an agreement with
the holders of its outstanding bonded indebtedness whereby
it will issue refunding bonds to be exchanged for the
present outstanding bonds of said district, said refunding
bonds to provide for more time in vjhich to pay the outstand-
ing bonded indebtedness, thus decreasing the annual. recyuire-
ments to be collected from the property owners in the
district; and
'44H EtEAS, it will be much easier for the property
owners in the district to pay the refunding bonds over a
period of years; and
i1=, EAS, the statute permitting refunding bonds
provides for interest at six per cent per annum from the date
of the refunding bonds to be collected on each annual install-
ment of the assessment of benefits;
NOf, T`r;EORE, Be It Ordained by the City Council
of the City of Little Pock, Aransas:
Section 1: That the said several_ lots, blocks,
parcels and tracts of real property in Street Improvement
District No. 419 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and
the same are hereby assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the sane now remains in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City of Little dock, Arkansas,
and as it may hereafter from time to time be revised or
readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that six and two- thirds
per centum (6 2,13 %) of the said assessment of the value of the
benefits on each of said lots, blocks, parcels and tracts of
real property in said district, beginning with .arch lstt
1934, shall be paid on or before the first day of Idlarch
of each year, until the whole of said assessments have
been paid. Each annual installment shall bear interest at
six per cent per annum from May 1, 1933, the date of the
aforesaid refunding bonds, until paid, said interest to be
computed and collected separately upon each annual install-
ment of the assessment of benefits.
Sr1CTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and-
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
