AN ORDINANCE T'ROHIBITING THE USE OF SHORT 'SAVE LENGTH
RADIO ^ECEIVING SETS IN AUTOrAOBILES OPERATED OVER THE STREETS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
BE IT O"DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to equip any automobile
operated over or upon the streets of the City of Little Rock with
a short wave length radio receiving set or to operate any automo-
bile so equipped over said streets, unless such automobile be in the
service of the City, County, State or Federal Government.
Section 2. "Short Nave Length" as used herein shall include
any wave length of less than two hundred (200) meters.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not
less than Twenty Five ($25) nor more than One Hundred ($100)
Dollars and each day's maintenance and operation of any automo-
bile equipped with the radio sets herein prohibited shall be
considered a se)erate offense.
Section 4. In order that the effieient operation of the
police cars of the State, city and county be not interfered with
in the duties of prohibiting and detecting crime, the welfare
and safety of the citizens of Little Rock and Pulaski County make
the passage of this ordinance immediately necessary and an
emergency is therefore declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in force and take effect from and after the date of its
passage

Sec.l. It shall be unlawful to equip any automobile operated
over or upon the public streets of the City of - Louisville with a
short Nave length radio receiving set unless such automobile be in
the service of the City, county, State or Federal Uovernment.
Sec.2. " Short wave length ", as used herein shall include any
wave length of less than 200 meters.
Sec.3. Any person, frim or corporation violating this ordinance
