5129f- _ _ — or ORDINANCE N0. 5129 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE MAKING OF A CONTRACT TO CUT THE HAY FROM THE MUNJ CIPAL AIRPORT; GIVING AUTHORITY, THEREFOR TO THE AIRPORT COMMITTEE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1. That whereas there is immediate need for cutting the grass and hay on the Little Rock Municipal Airport and that the City equipment formerly used for this purpose is not available; and that said grass and hay is of sufficient value that it can be sold. Section 2. The Mayor and Airport Corrnittee of the City Council is hereby authorized, empowered, and instructed to take bids from any and all parties desiring to cut and remove said grass and hay from the said Little Rock Municipal Airport aA.f— and the said Mayor and Airport Committee 3s authorized, empowered, and directed to award said contract to the party or parties offering the contract most satisfactory to the City. Section 3. The immediate removal of the grass and hay from the Airport being necessary for the safety in using the port an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force upon its passage and approval.
