AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2096 OF BRIGHOUSE AND CASTLE'`
DIGEST,' EXTENDING THE LI iITS OF TEE CONGESTED DISTRICT AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That Section 2096 of Brickhouse and Castles
Digest of the Ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby
amended as follows; That the limits of the congested district for
the parking of automobiles are hereby extended to include Second
Street from Center Street to and inclusive of the east property
line ^f Broadway.
SECTION 2. That whereas said section is in the heart of
the business district and an emergency has been created b� virtue
of the fact that the governmental relief agencies have been conso-
lidated in the old Post Office Building and many of these employ-
ees are parking their automobiles on the streets in this territory
all day. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordin-
ance being necessary for the preservation of the peace and public
safety same shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
