AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 4017.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCU
Section 1. That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 4017 be and is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firai or corpora-
tion to buy sweet milk, or the cream therefrom,and sell it as market milk
or create, in the city of Little Rock unless it has been purchased from

a dairy for which a permit has been issued.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordiances in conflict
with thi s ordinance are hereby repealed LSFIe�3i��P�F'b

Section 4. - ,hereas, the distribution of unsanitary milk
is of great danger to the lives of the citizens of Little Hock, it is
declared to be the purpose of this ordinance to prevent the sale of
milk which has not been properly inspected, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary to offer protec-
tion to the public is declared to be necessary for the preservation
of the public health and safety and the same shall be in full forr•e
and effect f rom and after its passage and approval.
