AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATII, 1 Ir ONEY FROM THE AUTO IOBILE FUND WITH 'r'HICH TO PURCFASE CERTAIN LA1dDS IN THE 25th STREET PAVINu PROJECT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES i./HEREAS, the Federal Government has appropriated the money to pave lest 25th Street from Broadway west to extreme west- ern city limits, and 17HEREAS, contracts to pave said .'est 25th Street were let on or about May 17, 1934, and WHERuAS, it is necessary that the City of Little Rock acquire the rightofway for said street to be paved, and 1,"IHER AS, the contractors are ready to start work, but cannot start until the City acquires title to certain property for the rightofway of said street, NU,1, T- ERF..FG -iE, BE IT ORDAII.IED BY THE CITY COUTdCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. SECTION 1. That thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be appropriated from the automobile fund to be used in acquiring title to certain property which is necessary to complete the ";lest 25th Street Paving Project. That the mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue warrants to the property holders of the various property described in this ordinance for the amount agreed upon between the City and the owners of the said property; and they are also authorized to issue warrants to any other persons necessary to clear the title of any of the property described in this ordinance.
