5179ORDINANCE N0. 5179 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE A NUISANCE, ORDERING ITS REMOVAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK SECTION 1. That whereas, the owners of the following des- cribed property to wit: 1818 Fine 1818 Gaines 2709 -11 -13 Maryland 907 Maple 504 Fulaski 1718 Commerce old brick oil house near 2nd and bishop 213 Victory 1311 Lincoln 402 Park 820 North Martin, barn 301 Ash, barn on rear of lot 4304 16est 29th, fire damaged 101 Palm, barn in rear 420 Beech, barn in rear 4924 West Markham, barn in rear 5200 West Markham L. R. Country Club caddy house, L. R. Country Club property. White City, residence! three out houses 721 Valmar have allowed the buildings located on said property to deteriorate to the extent that said buildings have been found by the Fire Committee of the Little Rock City Council to be hazardous in that they, and each of them, constitute a fire hazard, and in addition are dangerous to the lif e and limb of the public; and same and each of them are here- by declared to be nuisances. And the Chief of Police is hereby in- structed to serve the owner or owners of each of said pieces of prop- erty with a copy of this ordinance and notify said owner or owners that the respective pieces of property must either be ton down and removed or remodeled within thirty days from the date hereof. SECTION 2. In the event the ovvner or owners of any of said pieces of property cannot be located, the Chief of Police is instruc- ted to serve said notice by posting a copy of this ordinance on the front door of each of said buildings and report such action to the Fire Committee of the City Council. -2- SECTION 3. Any owner or owners of any of the within des- cribed property failing or refusing to conform to the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor and upon con- viction thereof in t..e Little Rock Municipal Court shall be fined in any sum not less than Twenty -Five Dollars (,;25.00) nor more than Three Hundred Dollars (.'3300.00). SECTION 4. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and in- structed to proceed to take all necessary court action in order to 71( secure the removal of the property herein declared to be a nuisance if same is not removed or remodeled within thirty days of the date r. hereof. SECTION 5.
