THE STREET DEPAR.":
# - BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. The Mlayor and Board of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized to advertise for bids and enter into a
contract, or contracts, with the lowest responsible bidder
for the purchase of one (1) carload of paving asphalt, and one
(1) carload of ccal for the use of the Street Department, City
of Little Rock.
SECTION N. 1hereas it is for the best interest of the
safety, health and peace of the Citizens of the City of Little
Rock that the said asphalt and coal be purchased immediately,
an emergency is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be
in full foree and effect from and after its passage and approval.
