AN ORDINANCE AtITHORIZI TG TH::AYGR ArJ CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO
A LEASE AGREEMENT 'WITH M. 0. BIRK, LEASING CERTAIN PROPERTY
OWED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK_, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
-OSES.
BE IT ORI-AINED BY TH% CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTICN 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little bock
are hereby authorized, emrowered, and directed to make, enter into,
and execute for an.,. on behalf of the City of Little Rock, a lease
agreement with N_'. 0. Birk, his heirs, successors or assigns, leasing
for a period of ten (10) years, the following described property
owned by the City of Little Rock:
All that cart of the property owned by the City of Little
Rock lying between the East boundary of Scott Street
extenjin�, to river, and `Test boundary of Cumberland Street,
extending to river, and lying between the Arkansas river on
the North, and Right -of -way of railroad on the South.
SECTION 2. the 1V,ayor and City Clerk are further authorized,
directed and emrowered to execute said lease, copy of which is hereto
attached, marked "Exhibit A", and specifically made a part of this
ordinance, and their action in s: executing saia l-aas3 is hereby, in
all respects, ratified, confirmed and a - proved.
SECTION 3. This ordinance affecting the public revenues and
governmental activities, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and
approval.
