AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 4972 TO PROVIDE FOR THE
PAYMENT OF A DAILY LICENSE FEE FOR WHOLESALE OPERATORS VEND-
ING FISH, EGGS, POULTRY, FRUIT, VEGETABLES AND/OR FRCDUCE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 4972 is hereby amended by add-
ing to Section 3 thereof the following paragraph, "Provided that a
daily license fee in the sum of Two Dollars Fifty Cents ($2.50) may
be accepted in lieu of the annual license fee provided."
SECTICNT 2. This ordinance having for its purpose the licens-
ing of certain dealers in produce who operate on a wholesale basis
within the City of Little Rock the same is found to be necessary fa-
the preservation of the public health;and an emergency is therefore
declared to exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,, health and safety;and the
same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
