AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO
ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS ON A STREET SWEEP -
ER FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City
of Little Rock is hereby authorized and directed to adver-
tise for and receive bids for furnishing to the City of
Little Rock, one street sweeper, suitable for use by the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. Board of Public Affairs is hereby re-
quested to report such information as to the price and kind
of sweeper to the City Council for further consideration.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, the street cleaning equipment
of the City, is in such condition that the proper cleaning
of the streets cannot be conducted, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, this ordinance is found to be necessary
for the imaediate preservation of the public peace, health,
and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
