AN ORDINANCE AP+IENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5278
AREAS, the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
passed Ordinance Yo. 5278 on October 14, 1935.
WEvREAS, through a typographical error Section 1. of said Ord-
inance fixed the date of interest on the asses sment% from the first day of San-
uary, 1935 then the ordinance should have fixed said date as the first day of
July, 1935;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Hock, Arkensas that Section 1. of Ordinance No. 5278 is amended to
read as follows:
Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks, parcels and
tracts of real property in Street Improvement District No. 485 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkensas, be and the same are hereby assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Little hock, Arkansas, and as it may
hereafter from time to time be revised or readjusted by the Board of Assessors,
and that nine per cent (9) of the said assessment of the value of the benefits
on each of said lots, blocks, parcels and tracts of real property in said dis-
trict, beginning with October 1, 19,35 shall be paid annually on or before the
first day of October of each year, until the whole of said assessments have
been paid. The assessments shall bear interest from the first day of July,
1935 until paid at the rate of six per cent per annum, but interest shall be
collected upon each annual installment separately and shall not be collected
unless and until so ordered by the Board of Go=issioners.
Section 2. Ths.t all ordinances or parts or ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
affect from and after its passage.
