AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE AN AUTOMOBILE FOR THE PRODUCE DE-
PARTIVENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Board of Public Affairs are here-
by authorized to purchase from the Bale Chevrolet Company one stan-
dard two door Chevrolet automobile to be used by the Produce Depart-
ment of the City of Little tiock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. :hereas, the produce department of the City of Little
h=k has recently been organized, and whereas it is important that
this department have at its disposal an automobile to transport the
inspectors of food to and from various parts of the pity; and, where-
as it wojld be for the benefit of the peace, health and safety of
the general public, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
