AN ORDIH&NCE DEDICATING CERTAIN LANDS LYING
IN THE Mf 1/4 SECTION 9, TCV NSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 12
WEST, TO LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR STREET
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LI'T'TLE ROCK:
Sect 1. That the follorlving described land, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
folloevs,to -wit:
A strip of land 10 feet wide lying South of and immediately
adjacent to the present Southerly property line of West Twelfth Street, Little Rock,
Arkansas, said strip to begin at the Easterly ri;ht of way line of the Chicago, Rock
Island and Pacific Railroad and to extend Eastwardly to the Westerly line of the first
alley lVest of Jones Street on the South side of 77 est Twelfth Street all of said streets
being in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
be, and the same is hereby dedicated and declared as a public thoroughfare.
Sect. 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Sect. 3. Whereas, the convenience, welfare and safety of the t ravelling public demand
that the viaduct at this point be reconstructed, and the approaches widened in order to
prevent the congestion of traffic on this street, and that the land hereinbefore described
in the City of Little Rock be set forth and dedicated for street purposes, aa1 emergency
is hereby delcared to exist and this ordinance being; necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publica-
tion.
