AN ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE A NUISANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE REMOV-
AL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That whereas, the owners of the folloRd ng des
cribed property to -wit:
320 South Pine
1405 Cumberland
1701 High
1921 West 3rd
1116 Oak
5421 Prospect
707 -09 West 9th
3208 Schiller
1922 Louisiana
512 West 9th
Foot of North Scott
2001 Arch
600 Cedar

have allowed the buildings located on said property to deteriora
to the extent that said buildings have been found by the Fire
mittee of the Little Rock City Council to be hazardous in t hat
they, and each of them constitute a fire hazard, and in addition

are dangerous to the life and limb of the public; and same and i
each of them are hereby declared to be nuisances. And
of Police is hereby instructed to serve the owners of each of
said pieces of property with a copy of this ordinance and noti
said owner or owners that the respective pieces of property must
either be torn down and removed or remodeled within thirty (30)
days from the date hereof.
:SECTION 2. In the event the owner or owners of any of
said pieces of property cannot be located, the Chief of Police
is instructed to serve said notice by posting a copy of this or*
dinances on the f ront door of each of said buildings and report

SECTION 3. Any owner or owners of any of the within des-
cribed property failing or refusing to conform to the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor app '
upon conviction thereof in the Little Rock Municipal Court shall !
be fined in any sum not less than Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00)

SECTION 4. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and

instructed to proceed to take all necessary court act ion An order
to secure the removal of the property herein declared to be a nui-
sance if same is not removed or remodeled within thirty (30) days
of the date hereof.

necessary for the immediate preservation of the public.peace,
health and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
