WHEhLA51 the Mayor and the City Council of the City
of Little Rood, Arkal:sas have heretofore pledEed the sure of
Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to the Little Rock Community
Chest as the contribution of the City torard the rnaintenance of
the said Chest; and,

Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are here'ay
authorized and directed to pay the Burn of Five Thousand Dollars
($5,000.00) to the Little Sock Co�rrnunity Chest Fund at such times
and in such amounts as they deem for the best interests of the
Citr; and the sure of Five Thousand Dollars 05,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund of said City for the purpose
of s�_,ch payment.
Section 2. Whereas, the said Community Chest is in
urgent need of funds aid it being, necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety that this ordinance vecorne
immediately operative, same shall be. in full force and effect from
and after its passage and aiproval.
