BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or, LITTLE ROC IC, ARIr.AITSAS .
Sect. 1. That the following described route and grade of 7th Street Underpass, in
Little Rock, Arkansas, as follows, to -wit : -
Starting at the Southwest corder of the llortlrrest Quarter of Sec-
tion 4, T mr,,ship 1 North, Range 12 vest; thence South 5 °121 East 666.1 feet to the
intersection of the centerlines of lf,Foodrow and Vest Sixth Street in Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence north 84'50, last 723.5 feet to a point on centerline of Survey Job
No. 6206, as surveyed by the Arkansas State Eighway Commission, said point being
designated as survey station 3 + 59.6; thence north 85 °041 East 16 feet to station
3 + 74.6, for a point of beginning.
Beginning at station 3 + 74.6, the above described point; and on
the present street grade; thence North 85 °04t East, and along the arc of a 100 foot
vertical curve in an easterly direction 43.4 feet to station 4 + 18; thus completin
the arc of the vertical curare; thence on a minus 3.99 percent grade 152 feet to g;
statior. 5 + 70; thence along the arc of a vertical curve 38.8 feet to station 6 + 08.8;
thence along; the arc of a 3 degree curve to the right 61.2 feet to station 6 + 70;
thus completing the are of the vertical curve; thence on a minus 6.8 percent grade
319.9 feet to station 9 + 89.9; thus.ccmpleting the arc of the 3 degree curve to the
right; thence South 83°30, Last on•a straight tangent, and a ru nus 6.8 percent grade
72.6 feet to station 10 + 62.5; thence along the are of a 275 foot vertical curve from
a minus grade to a plus grade, 2735 feet to station 13 + 37,5; thence on a straight
tangent and a plus 6 percent grade 11.6 feet to station 13 + 49.1; thence along the
are of a 3 degree curve to the left and a plus G percent grade 50.9 feet to station
14 + 00; thence along the are of a 170 foot vertical curve, 170 feet to station 15 + 70;
thus completing the vertical curve; thence continuing along the arc of a 3 degree curve
left 146.9 feet on a plus 0.92 percent grade to station 170+ 16.9; thus cor._pleting
the 3 degree curve to the left; thence North 85 *28, East on a Straight tangent and a
plus 0.92 percent grade 48.1 feet to station 17 .+ 65, a point on the present street
grade, the end of Job 6206, and the end of this description.

Sect. 30 Whereas, the convenience, welfare and safety of the travelling public demand
that the route of the said 7th Street Underpass, through the City of Little Rock be changed
to the route herein set forth and dedicated, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in N11 force from and after its passage and publication.
