NO. 520
'MHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a
majority in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a -petition praying
that an improvement district be esta.blishea for the purpose
hereinafter set out;
ATEREAS, after due notice as requirea by law, the City
Council ox the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
Petition was signed by a majority of more than 51 per
cent in assessed value of the owners of real property within Baia
territory;
NObI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI'ED by the City Council or
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property lying within the City
of Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 7, inclusive, of Block 151;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Block 136;
Lots 1, 21 :5, 10, 11 and 12, or Block 1`9;
The East half of Block 301;
Ana all of Block 18;5;
All of the above described property
within the original City of Little Rock,
for the purpose of resurracing North State Street from the North
line or West larkhaiu Street to the Right of ?Flay of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad, with such materials and in such manner as the
Conmissioners to be elected for said improvement district shall
deem for the best interests of said district.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 520 , of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the cost of the im-
prcvements hereinabove set forth shall be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described, and sirs. .1"ai.ce R. Campbell,
%:iss hiargaret IV,. Faucette, and i11rs . 0. F. Cunningham are hereby
namea Corrdssioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement
for said district.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
