AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE 07,11NERS OF EACH
OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PAR-
CELS OF LAND ViITHIN STREET IlTJ ROVE -
IE.SOI>>T DISTRICT NO. 520 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
INHEREAS, the majority of the property owners owning
property adjoining the locality to be effected and situated in
Street Improvement District 1.1Io. 520 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, organized for the purpose of resurfacing North State
Street as therein set out, have petitioned the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said
improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon
the real property of said district according to the benefits
received; and
rdF?EREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block and parcel of real property situated in said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
1MREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
X1,464.00;
NOW, T?I'REFORE BE IT =SOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the said several lots, blocks and parcels
of real property in said Street Improvement District No. 520 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains
in the office of the City Clerk, and that twenty -five per centum
(25 %) of the assessment of benefits on each of said lots, blocks
and parcels of real property shall be paid annually on or before
the 1st day of October of each year, beginning with October, 1936,
until the whole of said local assessment of benefits shall be paid.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and t his ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
