AN ORDINANCE FIXING TBE NUMBER OF DETECTIVES

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. The Detective Department of
the Police Department of the City of Little Rock
shall consist of one Chief of Detectives, one
Lieutenant who shall be superintendent of the
Identification Bureau of the Police Department,
ten detectives, two of whom shall have charge
of the automobile theft Bureau of the Police Depart-
ment, and one stenographer.
SECTION 2. It being ascertained and
found that an increase in the Detective Department
is necessary for the public peace, health, and
safety of the Cjty of Little Rock, an emergency
is declared to exist, and all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby
repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage and
approval.
