AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $350 IN SETTLEMENT
OF LIABILITY FOR CHANGING GRADE OF STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the
sum of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350) to be paid to
Marie C. Turpin in full settlement of her claim for damages
to Lot Two (2), Block Nine (9), Worthen & Brown's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, on account of a change in the
grade of that part of West Fourteenth Street adjoining said
property.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to draw the warrant authorized by the foregoing
section against the road fund or the auto fund, or against
both of said funds if neither of said funds contains a balance
sufficient for the payment of such warrant.
