3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ENTER INTO AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH O'REILLY
5 AUTO PARTS, AS PRIMARY VENDOR, AND NAPA AUTO
6 PARTS, AS SECONDARY VENDOR, FOR LIGHT DUTY
7 VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PARTS; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract was issued, under Bid No.
11 C04022, to provide light duty vehicle replacement parts for the City's existing fleet of
12 vehicles, and O'Reilly Auto Parts and Napa Auto Part submitted the only bids received.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
14 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
16 into an annual contract with O'Reilly as a primary vendor and Napa Auto Parts as a
17 secondary vendor to provide light duty vehicle replacement parts for the City's fleet of
18 vehicles, for an estimated annual cost of One Hundred Twenty -five Thousand Dollars
19 ($125,000.00).
20 Section 2. Funds for this contract are allocated from account #600- 360 -6040-
21 6041- 2162 -0.2.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
23 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
24 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
25 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
