THE' LITTLE ROCK I: NICIP. L ' iM. ' +JORKS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUI.ICIL OF `JT' CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. That the I-,ayor and Board of Public
Affairs are hereby authorized and empowered to enter into a
lease agreement with the Hawthorne Land Company to provide
for the leasing of office space, 423 -25 ';;est Capitol '.venue,
to be used for and in behalf of Little Rock Municipal yJater
',;forks and such other office space as the City may deem proper.
SECTION II. - ,thereas, the -)resent lease for said
office space will expire on the 30th day of September, 1936
it is necessary that said space be re -leased in order to provide
for the orderly operation of the Little Rock Municipal :,'later
'forks an emergency is therefore declared to exist and this
Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of
public peace, health and safety the same shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
