AN ORDINANCE AUTHOTJIZING THE MLYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
DEED FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY CONVEYING CITY'S INTEREST THEREIN; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCS,
ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Whereas the City has acquired the ownership of the
following described property to -wit:
Lot Four(4), Block Ons(1), Fletcher & Wright's
Addition and the East sixty -nine aid seventy»
five hundredths feet (Z 69.751) of Lot T*o(2),
Block One(1), and the East sixty nine and seventy
five hundredths feet (R 69.75') of the south (s)
Thirty -nine feet (39') of Lot One(1), Block One(1),
Fletcher & Wright's addition to the city of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, °rkansas
in securing the right of way for the 25th street Project and such
property is not necessary for use in said right of way and the City
has been offered the sum of Twelve Hundred Fifty & no/100 Dollars
( 41250.00) for said property by Little Kock Investment Company, the
Mayor and 0ity Ulerk are hereby authorized and directed to accept
from the said Little Rock investment Company, the sum of Twelve Hundred
Fifty & no/100 Dollars(41250.00 ), and they are further authorized and
directed to execute City's deed conveying said property to Little Rock
Investment Company.
SECTION 2. Whereas additional money is needed for completion
of 25th Street 2roject an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance is found to be necessary for the protection and preser-
vation of the public health, peace and safety and same shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
