ORDINANCE N0. 5399
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF X1,000.36 FOR
THE PAYMENT OF THE CITY'S PORTION OF THE COST OF CONSTRUCTING
THE SOUTH MAIN STREET EXTENSION TO ROOSEVELT ROAD; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT OF SAFE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,000.36 is hereby
appropriated from the Road and /or Auto Fund of the City of
Little Rock for the payment of the City's portion of the cost
of construction of South Alain Street Extension to Roosevelt �
Road, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
issue the City's warrant or warrants in the amount mentioned,
drawn against the said Road and /or Auto Fund, payable to the
Arkansas State Highway Commission, W.W. Zass, Trustee, in q
w
payment of same.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and approval.

project, the "ain Street Extension, has been completed by
the Contractor and accepted by the State Highway Department
and the Bureau of Public ;Roads.
The Contractor has been paid in full for all work
done in accordance with his contract, and according to the
final computations the_ cort_ .f_. the project exceeds the Feder-
al funds available by `6 00.3 ; an increase of "'118.61 over
the amount covered by the City Council's resolution of Febru

Sn order to close our records on the project,
please arrange to reimburse the Arkansas State Highway De-
