AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE 1!AYOR AND BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO ADVERTISE FOR
AND ACCEPT, BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF 'IATERIALS AND
EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY HOSPITAL; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 0? THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTIGA4' 1. That the Mayor and Board of Public Affairs
of the City of Little 1lock be, and they are hereby, authorized
to advertise for, and accept, bids for the following materials
and equipment, to -wit:
Repair to equipment w21000.00
Bed Linens 13,500.00
Surgical Instruments 1,000.00
Lighting Equipment 825.00
$5$25.00
the amounts to be expended for the above materials not to ex-
ceed the sums of money mentioned above for each item.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the Gen-
eral Fund of the City of Little hock the sum of Live Thousand
Three Hundred Twenty -five (?5,325.00) Dollars for the payment
of the purchase price of the merchandise and equipment mentioned
in section 1 of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The equipment and material mentioned in
Section 1 of this ordinance being necessary for the proper op-
eration of the City Hospital and its proper operation being nec-
essary for the health, peace and safety of the citizens of the
City of Little ock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
