AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BO.A-RD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR, RECEIVE BIDS ON, AND
PURCHASE TWO (2) TRUCKS, FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPART :ENT OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affa.im
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to
advertise for, receive bids on, and purchase two (2) trucks, for
use in the Street De -partment of said City.
Section 2. Whereas, the Street Department of the
City of Little Rock is badly in need of these trucks, and the
purchase of same being immediately necessary for the rreserva.tion
of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens of Little
Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
approval.
