AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIAS FOR FOUR (4)
PASSENGER AUTOMOBILES F02 USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AND ONE (1) MOTOR ROAD PATROL FOR USE IN THE
STREET DEPARTMENT; AIUD FOR O'.IHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITT
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The t;iayor and Board of Public hffairs are
hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and receive bids
for four (4) passenger automobiles for use of the Little Rock
Police Department, and one (1) motor road patrol for the use of
the street Department, and to report the loivvest and best bid re-
ceived to the U"ouncil.
SECTION 2. hereas, there is immediate need for said
equipment, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this or-
dinance is found to be re cessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety and same shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after its passage and approval.
