AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
RECEIVE BIDS FOR AND TO PURCHASE AN AUTOMOBILE FOR THE
USE OF THE CITY VETERINARIAN; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs hereby
is authorized and directed to advertise for bids for an
automobile for the use of the city veterinarian. The Board
is further authorized to purchase said automobile from the
lowest and best bidder.
SECTION 2. ?,- HEREAS, additional duties have been
Imposed on the city veterinarian, and it is necessary for him
to have the immediate use of an automobile, an emergency is
declared and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety,
and the same shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and approval.
