AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS,
FIXING THE PENALTY THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. From and after the passage and approval
of this ordinance, it shall be unlawful to park any automobile
or vehicle for more than on Cross Street on the

east curb thereof from Markham Street to the alley which j
intersects the block between Markham Street and Second Street;
any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of
this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction be fined in any sum not less than One Dollar
01.00) nor more than Five Dollars ($5.00).
SECTION 2. 'WHEREAS, continuous parking in this
territory interferes with business, an emergency is therefore
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to be
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, j
and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
