AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO
INSTALL BRAKE TESTING SERVICE FOR AUTOMOBILES; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs are
hereby authorized to receive bids for the purchase of the brake
testing machine, a headlight testing machine, a wheel alining
machine, and an automobile lift, and such other machinery as is
necessary to properly equip a station for the purpose of testing
automobiles as required by the State Police. The Board of
Public Affairs is directed to report back to the Council when
said bids have been receivedr4C4--�
SECTION 2. 70HEREAS, it is necessary to immediately
begin testing automobiles, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety,
and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
