AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR ONE (1)
PASSENGER AUTOMOBILE FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs are
hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and receive bids
for one (1) passenger automobile for use of the Street Department,
and to report the lowest and best bid received to the Council.
Section 2. Whereas, there is immediate need for said
equipment, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety and same shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
