AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO PURCHASE ONE (1)
PASSENGER AUTOMOBILE FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT; APPROPRIAT-
ING THE Sum OF $789.00 FROM THE AUTO OR ROAD FUND FOR THE PAYI,IENT
OF SLME; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby authorized to purchase one (1)
Nash- LaFayette Passenger Automobile , properly equipped, for
use in the Street Department of said City.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the
Auto or Road Fund of said City the sum of Seven Hundred Eighty-
nine and No /100 ($789.00) Dollars for the payment of said
automobile, and the :Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to issue the City's warrant or warrants to the proper parties
in the amount above- mentioned, for the payment of same.
Section 3. Vaiereas, there is immediate need for said
equipment, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety and the same shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
