AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT li= ARCHITECTS FOR DRAWING PLANS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY JAIL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Erhart &
Eichenbaum, Architects, for drawing plans for the construction
of the City Jail, testing station and garage building and to
pay for such services the sum of 32% of the construction cost,
it being understood that said construction cost will not
exceed $60,000.00.
Section 2. Whereas it is necessary to start
Immediate work on said projects an emergency is hereby found
to exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety
and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
