AN ORDINANCE TO V END ORDINANCE N0. 5420 OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO PERtyiIT THE
ERECTION AND OPERATION OF A TEA RO""iiui ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOT
NINE (9), BLOCK TWO HUNDRED FORTY -FOUR (244), ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
ISSUE BUILDING PER1,!IT FOR ERECTION OF SALE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 5420, known as the
Zoning Ordinance, of the ordinances of the City of Little Rock,
passed February 15th, 1937, is hereby amended to permit the
erection of a room approximately 15 feet by 20 feet on the front
of residence located on Lot Nine (9), Block Two Hundred Forty -
four (244), Original City of Little Rock, and the operation of
a Tea Room therein.
Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Little
Rock is hereby authorized and directed to issue a permit for the
construction of said room as described in Section 1 hereof, to
Mrs. Lena Ives Roberts upon payment of the proper fee therefor.
Section 3. That upon the completion of said building
the said Lrs. Lena Ives Roberts is hereby granted permission to
operate a Tea Room therein after securing the proper license for
the operation of same.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
insofar as same conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage and approval.
