AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO PURCHASE TWO AUTOMATIC COAL BURNERS FOR USE AT THE LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL ZOO; APPROPRIATING $750.00 FOR PAYMENT OF SAME; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City of
Little Rock is hereby authorized to purchase from the Fair Park
Zoological Society, for use at the Little Rock Municipal Zoo, the
following equipment:
1 #R -40 Iron Fireman Automatic Coal Burner
1 #R -60 Iron Fireman Automatic Coal Burner,
at and for the price of Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 ($750.00)
Dollars.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the
General Fund of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the sum of
Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 ($750.00) Dollars for the purchase
of said above -- described equipment, and the llIayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to issue the City's warrant or warrants in
the amount mentioned, drawn on the General Fund of said City,
payable to the said Fair Park Zoological Society.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
