Be it ordained by the Little Rock City Council:
Section 1. Crdinance No.5477,amending erection
4 of Ordinance No. =,shall be ar_ended by adding the
following thereto:
"Provided, hc-:,?ever, that ection 4 of
Ordinance ��io.� ?,and Ordinance No. 5'
amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 537?,
shall not apply to any place or -olaces
selling beer at the time either was

Section 2. It being ascertained and found by
the Little stock City Council that :section 4 of
Ordinance NoZ, as amended by Ordinance �ro.5,
would destroy the business of a few people who were
in business at the time of their passage, and who
were operating their places of business in an order-
ly manner, and that said places of business should
be permitted to continue tc sell beer, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist, and all ordinances and
Darts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.
