ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO CONTRACT FOR THE WRECKING AND
LOADING OF A CERTAIN HANGAR LOCATEL' IN TH3 CITY
OF IAYNOKA, STATE OF OKLAHOMA; APPROPRIATING
THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO PAY FOR SUCH
SERVICES; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO CONTRACT FOR THE DELIVERY OF
THE MATERIALS SECURED FROM SAID HANGAR TO THE
AIRPORT IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND APPRO-
PRIATING THE SUTA OF THREE THOUSAND DD LLARS TO
f�i FRAY SUCH TRANSPORTATION CHARGES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized to contract with some responsible person,
firm or corporation to dismantle the airplane hangar which has
been purchased by the amity of Little Rock, and which is located
In the City of 'uaynoka, otate of Oklahoma.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum
of Five Thousand Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
f rom the fund to pay for such work and
labor. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs shall have the
authority to contract for the disposition of any materials which
cannot be used in Little Rock, or reasonably transported to
Little -sock, in such a way and for such amount as the Mayor and
Board of Public Affairs deem advisable.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and Doard of Public Affairs
are further authorized and empowered to enter into a contract
with a common carrier to provide for the transportation of the
said materials for the said airplane hangar from the City of
Waynoka, estate of Oklahoma to the Adams Field in Little Rock,
Arkansas; and there is hereby appropriated the sum of Three
Thousand ollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from
the fund to be paid to said carrier on
delivery of said materials to the said Adams Field.
SECTIO14 4. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and empowered to issue the City's warrant or warrants
to such persons as may be directed by the Board of Public Affairs
for the payment of the expenses authorized by the terms of this
ordinance.

SECTION 5. "HEREAS, the 'ity of Little Rock is
losing revenue by-- t having roper airplane facilities, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is
found to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health and safety, and same shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
