AV ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A!'D DIRECTING THE
AYOR AN'D BOARD OD PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVER? I SE
FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR ALL OF THE JAIL
EQUIP .LENT NECESSARY FOR THE ItEW CITY JAIT ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Board of Pu_:lic Affairs
are hereby authorized and dir4cted to advertise for
and receive bids for all of the necessary equiprlent
for the new city jail in accordance with plans and
specifications prepared by the architects for said
project and filed with said board this =date; and
to report to thecouncil the loirest and best bidder.
SECTION 2. Whereas the completion of the said jail
is necessary for the city in order to give complete
facilities to the city for housing prisoners RiRP an
emergency is declareil to exist and this ordinance is
found to be necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace health and safety and the dame
shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
